Meet Me

TaiJaune (Tai) Robinson is an engineer, community leader, and founder dedicated to inspiring people to live with purpose, discipline, and impact. Born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, Tai demonstrated an early commitment to education, earning an associate degree from Youngstown State University the day before graduating high school, and later completing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.Tai began her career with General Motors in 2016 and has since held multiple engineering and leadership roles across automotive and motorsports, currently serving as an Engineering Business Manager in Motorsports. Her work spans technical programs, cross-functional operations, and strategic execution across high-performance racing environments.Committed to lifelong learning and excellence, Tai earned a master’s degree in Lean Manufacturing from Kettering University and was nationally recognized as a Women of Color Rising Star in Technology. She has also been an active leader within employee resource groups and diversity initiatives, helping to shape inclusive and high-performing teams.In 2018, Tai founded The Pop-Up Series, a nonprofit organization that promotes health, leadership, and community engagement through creative programming, fitness workshops, and youth events. The organization reflects her passion for service, movement, and empowering others to grow both personally and professionally.Beyond her professional and nonprofit work, Tai volunteers as a mentor and educator, supporting youth through tutoring, leadership development, and STEM outreach. Her guiding belief is simple: greatness is a choice, and leadership begins by example.Tai’s personal mission is to live and lead with purpose while inspiring others to discover their own potential and create lasting impact in their communities.
